Fun fact: A Street Contxt user on average manages about 12 distribution lists while roughly 20% of the user community manages more than 30 lists. Surprisingly, users only actively use about 30% of their lists.

Rethink Client Engagement with the Contact Activity Feed

Contact Activity Feed alerts you to recent significant email activities taken by your contacts on any of your emails in the last 7 days.

We know a factor to a content’s shelf life is partly due to when and how the recipient engages with it. This is why we designed an easy way to make new actions taken on past emails easily visible, helping you avoid missing important analytics on old emails and allowing to allowing you to follow up with your clients in a timely way.

Instead of digging through individual email insights pages, the Contact Activity Feed is a centralized dashboard that alerts you to recent significant email activities taken by your contacts on any of your emails in the last 7 days.

Total Visibility

Time is of the essence. If you’re able to see when a client that has been cold for a while suddenly engages with your content, you can take timely actions. Here are the types of activities you’ll see on your feed:

  • Rare Activity – an open or click engagement is considered rare when the engagement with the email breaks their historical engagement trend.
  • Link Clicks – whenever a contact clicks one of the tracked links in your email. Fact: link clicks only occurs 3% of the time.
  • Emails 30+ Days Old – when a contact opens an email you sent more than 30 days ago.

Tip: Not all activities are equal. You can use the filter buttons to view activities you care about

Context to Follow Up

Identifying significant actions by a client is a start, but you need context before taking any actions. That’s why you can click on a contact’s name on any of the feed events to see their complete profile and their historical engagement with all your content.

Tip: On a contact’s profile, click the Draft Email button to send a tracked follow-up email

Release Spotlight – Additional Opens

Additional Opens counts the number of times your email has been opened after the initial open. You can find Additional Opens in the Email Insights page next to the Opened column.

How to Use Additional Opens:

Your Additional Opens count is useful for prioritizing follow-ups. Multiple opens from a single contact are a great indicator of interest in your content, signaling a good time to follow up with that contact.

Pro Tip: You can sort your Email Insights page by the number of opens by clicking the Additional Opens column, giving you a data-driven call-list.

You can also use Additional Opens to gauge traction at a particular firm. When a contact shares your email internally, any opens from their colleagues will reflect in your Additional Open count for that email. An unusually high Additional Open count is a good indicator that your email has been forwarded internally at a contact’s firm.

Why Are My Opens so High? Many factors can contribute to an unusually high open count, many dependent on the browser or email client the recipient is using.

What’s New

  • You can now make your mass emails feel personalized by adding a greeting with your client’s name in the email body or subject line.
  • In fact, you can stylize your greeting to fit your personality. Are you more of a “Hey Bob,” kind of person, or are you all about “Hello Bob,”? Maybe you’re more formal and “Hello dearest Bob I trust you are well,” is more your style.
  • We’ve also added a feature that allows you to send a test email to see what the personalized greeting looks like before sending to your actual clients.

Visit our knowledge base to get started on our new mail merge personalization feature or click here to schedule a quick walkthrough.

  • When you perform any of the following actions, you’ll receive a notification and a short grace period to undo it:
